Teams

Sixteen teams representing 10 countries are taking part in the Rabo EuroHockey Championships 2017. The first European hockey championships were held in 1970, when only men’s teams took part. The women’s event started 14 years later, in 1984. During the 2015 European Championships in London, men and women’s teams played at the same location for the first time. Together, they scored a grand total of 203 goals. Click here for all results from previous EuroHockey Championships.

In 2017 both competitions will take place at the Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam. Find out more about the teams competing for the 2017 titles!
