Car

From Haarlem/Schiphol (highway A9)

Parking at Amsterdam RAI: Take exit 9 to RAI Rivierenbuurt at the ring road A10 Zuid. Turn right at the end of the exit and follow the signs RAI 1-4. 

Parking at Amsterdamse Bos: take highway A4 to Amsterdam at the interchange ‘Badhoevedorp’. The A4 turns into the ring road A10 Zuid. Take exit ‘Buitenveldert’, turn right at the end of the exit towards Amstelveen (Keizer Karelweg) and follow the signs P1. 

From Utrecht (highway A2)

Parking at the Amsterdam RAI: at the end of the A2, follow the signs ring road A10 Zuid to Schiphol. Then take exit 9 to Amsterdam Buitenveldert. Turn right at the end of the exit and follow the signs RAI 1-4.

Take highway A9 to Haarlem/Schiphol/Amstelveen at the interchange ‘Holendrecht’. Take exit 5 ‘Amstelveen’, turn right at the end of the exit towards Stadshart/Noord (Keizer Karelweg) and follow the signs P1. 

From Amsterdam

Drive past the Olympic Stadium (Amstelveenseweg) and follow the signs P1.

Parking

Everyone who visits the Rabo EuroHockey Championships 2017 by car is highly recommended to order parking tickets online. This parking ticket will assure you of the most carefree journey to the Wagener Stadium. Parking in the area surrounding the venue is for residents only (owning a parking permit). If you do park here, you will risk a fine. There are two parking sites during the Rabo EuroHockey Championships: the Amsterdam RAI and the ‘Amsterdamse Bos’ and. Visitors that park at the Amsterdam RAI will be transferred to the Wagner Stadium by shuttle buses. The shuttle buses are available for all visitors of the event. The last shuttle bus returning to the parking site departs at 23:30 hours from the Wagener Stadium. There are 500 parking spaces available at the ‘Amsterdamse Bos’. From there, the entrance to the venue is only a 5-minute walk away. If the location at the Amsterdamse Bos has reached its maximum capacity, the parking tickets for the Amsterdam RAI will become available for sale.

Public transport

The bus stop at the corner of the Kalfjeslaan and the Amstelveenseweg is about a 5-minute walk from hockeyclub Amsterdam, the event venue. Buses 170 and 172 depart from Central Station in Amsterdam and take different routes. There is also a regular connection to and from Amsterdam, Amstelveen, and Uithoorn on Sundays. Tram 5 and metro 51 stop at Uilenstede. From there, you can walk to the Wagener Stadium in about 15 minutes. Visit 9292.nl (English version) to plan your personal route to the stadium.
