Hollie Webb is best player of the tournament, Pien Sanders under-21 talent

England’s Hollie Webb has been named best player in the tournament after the final of the women’s European championships in Amsterdam on Saturday. Webb’s performance helped propel England to the bronze medal against Germany.

The Netherlands, who beat Belgium in the final 3-0, has two players in the best of tournament list: Pien Sanders was singled out as under-21 talent, while Laurien Leurink’s first goal against the Czech Republic was goal of the tournament.

Belgium’s Aisling D’Hooghe was named best keeper and Spain’s Begoña Garcia  took away the top scorer award with four goals.
